Late 1700s-early 1800s era cavalry sword, probably an import broad blade cavalry. Similiar to 1812 Starr, but some differences. Completely untouched, but could use some loving care. Guard a little loose, about 6 " of guard pitted, rest surface rust, blade clean but edge slightly nicked as most from kids sword fighting...Has an fancy etched blade, but can't tell much about it. Blade is wide, 1 5/8". OA length with metal scabbard, about 38". Might be a real sleeper!
